We primarily stock wild-caught top neck clams from New Jersey. The "Garden State" is the closest source for top necks, which makes for a fresher product, in turn keeping with our commitment to deliver only the best to our customers.
Top neck clams are a versatile clam, prepared and served in a variety of ways. They are great for steaming, but can also be eaten raw or stuffed and baked as "clams casino."
Because of their versatility, top necks are generally the most popular clam up and down the East Coast, especially in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. Their larger size, measuring between 2 1/8" - 2 3/8", makes for a hardy meal at roughly four clams per pound.
